In case anybody's been under a Beyoncé-proof rock for the last month, the (internet) world is forever changed by the Single Ladies... and in many ways, me.
Beyoncé launched her Sasha Fierce alter ego into web memedom thanks to a few skilled admirers and a couple of secret B-worshippers here at WonderHowTo. It started with Shane Mercado's perfect, single shot take on the Gwen Verdon-Bob Fosse influenced music video.
Shane won me over. I had to match them up. Without a split second of editing, Shane matched Beyonce step for step. The entire song, and in one take. Mike spliced the videos and a star was born. As seen in the photo left from the New York premiere of her film Cadillac Records, Shane's got Beyonce's approval. (Update: Our video was pulled from YouTube. Here's the original in its place.)

Inspired? Curious? The craze has hit more than a few talented dancers. Meet Coca. Twenty-year-old Coca is the best (yet) at teaching us what Shane and Secret Trois seemed to learn instantly. A Chicago native, he's also one of the millions of Beyonce's fans that have made a Single Ladies-inspired video. Here's his lesson on the second verse of 'Single Ladies'.
